Remote-Measurement-System via USB or Ethernet/LAN. Precise current- and multi-I/O- measurement. Measurement-System based on dependable ME-Technology by Meilhaus Electronic

Multi-functional Remote Measurement- and Control Module ME-7 "ME-Axon"

Precise Current and Voltage Measurement via USB or Ethernet

Meilhaus Electronic presents their latest development in measurement and control modules – the ME-7 also known as the ME-Axon. Depending on the model the device is connected to a USB 2.0 or a 10/100Base-T Ethernet/LAN interface of a PC. With its rugged metal housing it can be used as table-top device or integrated into a 19” rack. The ME-Axon’s main feature is the ability to measure currents at 7 different measurement ranges from 250 µA up to a maximum of 50A without interruptions when switching between the ranges. The additional analogue inputs of the module have a rating of up to ±10 V. Signal conditioning modules can be connected to acquire data from thermocouples. RTDs, bridges, differential currents or voltages. The max. A/D- conversion rate is 500 kHz with a resolution of 16 bit. For control applications the device has digital TTL I/O channels, 4 analog outputs with a voltage output of ±10 V (also at 500 kHz) and 3 counters.

An ME-4670 I/O measurement card is at the heart of the system. Therefore the ME-Axon is also supported under the ME-iDS software driver platform for Windows and Linux. On this basis the developer can choose amongst many different software environments to design his individual application. Standard programming languages such as C/C++/C#, VisualBasic, Delphi or Python are supported in addition to LabVIEW or Agilent VEE Pro. The driver has also been integrated into specialized software packages by various Meilhaus Electronic’s software cooperation partners. With the TestManager CE by MCD Elektronik (www.mcd-elektronik.de) even complex test routines can be programmed without having to program in a cryptic programming language. The module can also be integrated into real-time development environments via SCALE-RT by COSATEQ (www.cosateq.de) or used as sophisticated data acquisition unit with TurboLab (www.turbolab.de).

The ME-Axon is the fusion of 3 individual Meilhaus Electronic products: The ME-4670 multi-I/O board, the USB- or LAN-bridge ME-Synapse, as well as the ME-SIG32 as signal conditioning unit. Therefore the ME-Axon can be easily and quickly adapted to meet customer specific requirements

Precise 1-channel Amplifier for all types of analog outputs, including D/A boards and Signal Generators

Amplifier for D/A-Boards and Signal Generators: ME-PowerHouse/ME-5

1-Channel Analog Output Amplifier

Meilhaus Electronic from Puchheim, Germany presents the ME-5 also known as the ME-PowerHouse – a one-channel amplifier for analog signals. Output signals from an analog-output board or a signal generator of ±10 V can be amplified to ±24 V or up to ±100 V. The function of the amplifier is very simple and transparent so no software modifications are necessary. It is simply positioned between an  analog output and the application requiring a higher voltage. The ±100 V ME-PowerHouse is available in a rugged metal housing, whereas the ±24 V versions are available as DIN-rail mountable module or as OEM-PCB for simple integration. Other voltage ranges and mounting possibilities are available on demand. The devices are connected via BNC (DIN-rail and PCB versions) or SMB/LEMO (versions in the metal housing). SMB to BNC and a LEMO counter-connector are also included. The ME-5 can be connected to devices by Meilhaus Electronics or any other signal generators, as long as the ±10 V input voltage limit is met. The bandwidth is at least 100 kHz. Pluggable Phoenix terminals serve as power connection. Transient diodes protect the device from over-voltage for additional security.
