ME-Neuron - stand-alone DAQ PC or LAN DAQ station

Pre-configured PC DAQ station now available with 6 slots

With the ME-Neuron Meilhaus Electronic offers a complete, compact, industrial, 3U CompactPCI based PC system that is optimized for industrial DAQ and control applications. All components fit together perfectly - beginning with the CPU over the DAQ and control boards to the connectivity accessories and driver software. The key features are a robust metal housing, an industrial range for the supply power and mechanic characteristics like 19" installability. The CPU module’s performance is appropriate to DAQ applications. On the front panel there are the connectors for 2x USB, 2x Ethernet, video and P/2 (keyboard/mouse). The robust metal housing with a cooling fan can be stacked with the ME-Synapse USB or LAN and the ME metal terminal blocks (with BNC or pluggable Phoenix connectors). Moreover, the ME-Neuron can be mounted in 19" systems as an option. The box is available with either Windows or Linux operating system. It has two or - in the new XL version - six slots for 3 U CompactPCI boards. Used as a stand-alone PC DAQ system, any board from any manufacturer can be applied, as long as it is compatible with the CompactPCI standard. If you want to integrate the ME-Neuron in an Ethernet (i. e. as a "LAN DAQ station"), all ME CompactPCI boards supported by the driver system ME-iDS can be used. The ME-iDS allows you to control hardware supported by the ME-iDS which is installed on a computer connected via TCP/IP network. For the operating system Windows an additional RPC license is required.
