The core piece: Driver system ME-iDS

ME-iDS is the intelligent driver system for Meilhaus Electronic DAQ and control boards. The ME-iDS simplifies and standardizes the programming of all supported ME boards and devices. ME-iDS offers a consistent programming interface across all supported boards/devices, platforms, operating systems and software environments.

ME-iDS supports analog acquisition, analog output, digital input/output (incl. opto I/O and relay control), counters and external interrupts.

Across all boards/devices and platforms - what does that mean?

Your program written for an ME PCI board for example, will also run without any changes with a remote board in an ME-Synapse LAN or with a PCI-Express board. You only have to tell the board number to the program.

Across the supported operating systems and software environments - what does that mean?

All commands and parameters are always the same - across all the supported programming environments/languages and also with Windows or Linux. If you have understood the principle of the driver system in C/Windows, you can change your program to ANSI C/Linux with only a few Linux-specific changes for example.

COSATEQ SCALE-RT

SCALE-RT is the prototyping environment from Cosateq GmbH & Co. KG. New models can be developed in Windows (with MATLAB/Simulink, SimulationX, Dymola or the free Scilab/Sicos). The target system - for example a ME-Neuron - works with realtime Linux.

Applications: Hardware in the loop simulation (HiL), rapid control prototyping, realtime simulation clusters, control systems, development and bringing into service of control devices, simulation of real-life sensor/actuator technology, test automation, simulation of extreme conditions.

MCD TestManager CE und ToolMonitor

TestManager CE is the easy to use test sequencer software from MCD-Elektronik GmbH. With TestManager CE you can configure automatic test sequences without programming. The software ToolMonitor based on the TestManager CE offers a multi-channel data logging/line recording solution for the ME boards.

Applications with Testanagers CE: Automatic test systems, for example endurange test/continuous operation, board tests, final testing, process control, automation in general.

MDZ TurboLab

TurboLab from MDZ Bührer & Partner combines fast data acquisition with highend analysis. The software is also optimized for the fast handling of large sets of data.

Agilent VEE Pro

VEE Pro is the graphic software development environment from Agilent (originally introduced by Hewlett-Packard as HP-VEE). With VEE you compose your programs on a level high above most other programming languages and environments.

Applications: Measurement, DAQ and control, test, control of measurement instruments, interface programming.

ME-PowerLab2

The software ME-PowerLab2 from Meilhaus Electronic is a combination of virtual instruments (volt meter, oscilloscope, data logger, signal-generator, digital I/O etc.) for the ME DAQ and control boards.

Applications: Easy, simple measurements or data output without programming. Simple DAQ lab/measurement instruments.
