What exactly are ME-Synapse and ME-Neuron? -
The idea: Use DAQ boards in the ethernet, at the USB or via PCI-Express over cable!

The ME-Synapse "converts" the CompactPCI DAQ and control boards from Meilhaus Electronic to ethernet/LAN or USB 2.0 or PCI-Express x1 over cable. It's really that easy: "Insert the ME CompactPCI DAQ board and connect to ethernet, USB or PCIe x1". That's why we also call it the "docking station" for our DAQ boards. Depending on your application you can select a combination of DAQ baord(s) and ME-Synapse by yourself, or you choose one of our complete packages.

By the way: A CPU with a Linux operating system is the base of the ME-Synapse LAN. It can also handle small realtime applications, that you can download and run. If your application requires that functionality, just call. We help you and show you how this works with the ME-Synapse LAN!

The ME-Neuron is a complete, preconfigured industrial PC in 3 U CompactPCI size. Just like the ME-Synapse LAN, you can also use the ME-Neuron as a remote DAQ station in the ethernet. But as a full PC system, the ME-Neuron can also be used as a DAQ, measuremtn and control PC.

Thanks to our cooperation with PLUG-IN Electronic (a company specialized in industrial PC and embedded technology), Meilhaus Electronic also offers the PICE ME system. This PCI-based box PC can be ordered from Meilhaus Electronic bundled with ME DAQ and control boards.
