Benefits of the MCD AudioAnalyzer - Searching The "Clean" Sound

  • Software or combined software and hardware solution.
  • Test and calibration of analog and digital sound systems.
  • Easy to use, no programming know-how required.

MCD AudioAnalyzer Hardware + Toolmonitor

The MCD AudioAnalyzer is used for stimulation and analysis of audio signals in both the analog and the digital domains. The S/PDIF audio signals can be analyzed or placed to the analog outputs. The MCD AudioAnalyzer combines software (Toolmonitor MCD AudioAnalyzer) and hardware for analysis and generation of analog and digital signals in the audio range.

The MCD AudioAnalyzer hardware is coupled to the computer system via USB interface. The input range extends from 1mV to 50 V. The generator is controllable in the range up to 15 V. Besides the use of the MCD AudioAnalyzer as a stand-alone application it is also possible to remotely control or query all the functions and values of other Windows programs. For this purpose a COMClient/server interface is used.

For the analysis of audio signals, in addition to frequency and various signal strength measurements, measurements of THD and FFT spectrum are possible. Through the integrated signal generators, different wave and modulation forms are generated. The surface of the MCD AudioAnalyzer can be widely adapted and adjusted to varying applications. All functions of the MCD AudioAnalyzer can be controlled with the help of a COM Server interface with other Windows programs. The measured values obtained can be integrated well into the different programs. Special programming knowledge is not required. For input, both analog and digital signal sources are possible.

Using the ▸TestManager CE, the automated Toolmonitor MCD AudioAnalyzer can be controlled remotely.
