Convert Ethernet/LAN to Fiber: Up to 120 km with Full Galvanic Isolation
The Red-MCON series media converters convert Ethernet/LAN to fiber. Advantages: Extend transmission distances up to 120 km with full galvanic isolation. High immunity against EMI, eg. in industrial plants with motors and other switching devices.
- Converts 10Base-T or 100BaseTX/FX Ethernet/LAN to fiber.
- Supports MDI/MDI-X and 10M/100M auto-negotiation as well as full-/half-duplex point-to-point transparent transfer. LAN: RJ45.
- Both models available with optical SC or ST connectors. Note: Pairwise models of same type required!
- Max. distance depending on fiber cable: Up to 2 km with multi-mode fiber, up to 120 km with single-mode fiber.
- LEDs for power and transmission status.
- Power supply with external 5 V socket adaptor (included).
- Very compact - only 70 x 27 x 95 (W x H x D in mm, without connectors/fixing clamp).

Included: 1x Red-MCON module (one of the versions), external power-supply adaptor, instructions for use. Pairwise models of same type required! Fiber cable not included, commercial standard fiber cables can be used.
