PicoScope Off-Highway Vehicle Kits

The PicoScope Off-Highway kits are specifically designed for use in the fault diagnosis of trucks, tractors, forklifts, boats, combine harvesters, excavators, and other vehicles (heavy duty/HD and off-highway/OH).

The kits include a modified PicoScope PS4425A (also available separately with order number PQ333) with additional protection to withstand off-road conditions. The kits include extensive accessories for quick and easy, non-invasive measurements on a variety of systems and components in these vehicles.

To support the off-highway kits, a set of ten HD-OH-guided tests has been added to the PicoAutomotive software. The tests include in particular the 24-V battery, Bosch Denoxtronic, J1939 communication, engine and hydraulic system as well as component tests.

Off-Highway Entry Kit PQ324

The Off-Highway Entry Kit is based on the Off-Highway 4425A PicoScope. It was developed for technicians who work with off-highway machines and heavy-duty vehicles. The kit's clips, probes and branch leads help technicians quickly and easily make the most common connections to components and systems. The kit also includes current clamps that are ideal for checking power systems and powering electrically operated components.

Off-Highway Expert Kit PQ331

In addition to the accessories in the Off-Highway Entry Kit, the Off-Highway Expert Kit includes an extended range of break-out cables for easy connection to a wider range of components and systems. Also included is a WPS500X pressure transducer with accessories, which is ideal for measuring the pressure in the engine's intake, exhaust and fuel systems. The Off-Highway Expert kit is supplied in a carrying case for easy storage and transportation.

Off-Highway Elite Kit PQ332

The Off-Highway Elite Kit contains a dual WPS600 hydraulic transducer. This gives technicians working with off-highway machinery and heavy-duty vehicles the tools to diagnose faults in hydraulic systems. And this is in addition to the vehicle and equipment components and systems covered by the Off-Highway Expert kit. The Off-Highway Elite Kit offers a convenient way to purchase all the essential accessories at once and at a reduced price.

Ten Guided Tests

In support of the off-highway kits, ten HD-OH specific tests have been added to the PicoScope Automotive Guided Test library. The tests include information and materials to help HD-OH technicians start their oscilloscope diagnostics journey, including guidance on the method and equipment used to complete the test and capture a waveform. With a pre-loaded example waveform for comparison and the scope settings automatically set, there is no more supportive diagnostic tool for your off-highway vehicle diagnosis.
