The Digilet Analog Discovery Studio Max (ADS Max) is a versatile and comprehensive electronics laboratory solution tailored for academic environments. It integrates 14 essential test instruments, including an oscilloscope, waveform generator, bode plots, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, digital multimeter (DMM), power supplies, and protocol analyzer, into a single, portable device. This all-in-one design allows students to engage in hands-on learning and apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios, making it an invaluable tool for engineering education. The ADS Max facilitates seamless circuit prototyping with integrated power supplies and a breadboardable interface, enabling students to easily design and test circuits. The software WaveForms is the free software application for the ADS Max and enables use of the available analog and digital instruments. The hardware device communicates with WaveForms via a USB connection to your computer, allowing users to capture, record, analyze, and generate mixed signal and mixed domain waveforms. WaveForms offers prebuilt instrument panels for immediate use, while APIs for LabVIEW, C, and Python allow for custom software development.
