Digilent Zynq ARM/FPGA SoC Development Boards
The Digilent Zynq ARM/FPGA SoC Development Board Series are low-cost development board built aroudn the the Xilinx Zynq-7000 all programmable SoC (APSoC). The Zynq-7000(S) SoC family integrates the software programmability of an ARM-based processor with the hardware programmability of an FPGA, delivering cost-optimized system integration. Available versions are...
- ZedBoard (410-248) with XC7Z020-CLG484 - this ARM board contains everything necessary to create a Linux, Android, Windows, or other OS/RTOS based design. Additionally, several expansion connectors expose the processing system and programmable logic I/Os for easy user access. Target applications for this Xilinx 7 series FPGA board include video processing, reconfigurable computing, motor control, software acceleration, Linux/Android/RTOS development, exploring RISC processors (ARM), and general Zynq-7000 AP SoC prototyping. The ZedBoard is supported by Xilinx's Vivado Design Suite, including the free WebPACK version.
- Eclypse Z7 (410-393) with XC7Z020-1CLG484C - specifically designed to enable the rapid prototyping and development of embedded high-speed instrumentation, control, and measurement systems for edge-computing, medical, and communications applications. Featuring high-speed Zmod ports for modular expansion and a Xilinx Zynq-7020 SoC, the Eclypse Z7 is fast and flexible. Zmod Expansion: Zmod is Digilent’s expansion solution using the open-source SYZYGY standard from Opal Kelly. Faster than the Pmod Standard and more compact and cost-effective than FMC, Zmods improve the customizability options for high-speed I/O.
- Zybo Z7 (410-351-10/20) - a ready-to-use embedded software and digital circuit development board built around the Xilinx Zynq-7000 family. A rich set of multimedia and connectivity peripherals make the Zybo Z7 a formidable single-board computer. A MIPI CSI-2 compatible Pcam connector, HDMI input, HDMI output, and high DDR3L bandwidth establish the Zybo Z7 as an affordable, yet capable, solution for high-end embedded vision applications. Attaching additional hardware is made easy by the Zybo Z7's Pmod connectors, allowing access to Digilent's catalog of over 70 Pmod peripheral boards, including motor controllers, sensors, displays, and more. The Zybo Z7 is supported by Xilinx's Vivado Design Suite, including the free WebPACK version. You can also interact with the processing system (PS) with Xilinx's Vitis Unified Software Platform and PetaLinux Tools.
- Cora Z7 ((410-370) with XC7Z007S-1CLG400C - most cost-optimized SoC development board featuring the power and flexibility of Xilinx's Zynq-7000 SoC family. Featuring Arduino headers, 1 Gbps Ethernet, an onboard analog-to-digital converter, and Pmod ports, the Cora Z7 can be used in a variety of embedded applications. The Cora Z7 is supported by Xilinx's Vivado ML, including the free Vivado ML Standard Edition. You can also interact with the processing system (PS) with Xilinx's Vitis Unified Software Platform and PetaLinux Tools. The ARM Cortex-A9 processor on the Cora Z7-07S is single-core.
