The HIOKI IM758x is a series of high-stability impedance measurement devices for high-speed measurements. Five models with frequency ranges between 100 kHz and 3 GHz are available. The devices use a high resolution A/D converter. By controlling the input signal's level and frequency, the A/D converter's dynamic range can be utilized to the fullest, achieving measurement with a wide impedance range and minimum variability. The IM758x analyzers can display up to four measurement parameters simultaneously and also offer an LCR mode.

  • 5 model versions with frequency ranges 1...300 MHz, 100 kHz...300 MHz, 1...600 MHz, 1 MHz...1.3 GHz, or 1 MHz...3 GHz.
  • Dual measurement modes; display up to four measurement parameters simultaneously:
    Z (impedance), Y (admittance), θ (phase angle), X (reactance), G (conductance), B (susceptance), Q (Q-factor), Rs (equivalent series resistance, ESR), Rp (equivalent parallel resistance), Ls (equivalent series inductance), Lp (equivalent parallel inductance), Cs (equivalent series capacitance), Cp (equivalent parallel capacitance), D (loss factor tan δ), V (monitor voltage)*, I (monitor current)* - paramters * analyzer mode only.
  • LCR mode: Measurements by applying the desired frequency and level signal to the component being measured. This mode is ideal for evaluating passive samples such as capacitors and coils.
  • Analyzer mode: Perform measurement while sweeping through a range of measurement frequencies and measurement signal levels. This mode is ideal for checking frequency characteristics and level characteristics.
  • Intelligent measurement and analysis with versatile display functions.
  • Interfaces: USB, LAN, GPIB (option), RS232C (option), EXT I/O.
  • Space-saving half-rack size.
  • Optional test fixtures IM9201 and IM9202 for various sizes of electronic components and measurement frequencies enable easy and reliable components measurement.
