Copper Mountain R Series 1-Port VNA/Cable and Antenna Analyzers

The Copper Mountain Technologies R series 1-port VNAs (vector network analyzers, cable and antenna analyzers) delivers lab grade performance in a handheld device. The analyzers can be connected directly to the antenna or other DUT (device under test) without the need for a test cable, eliminating measurement uncertainties inherent to cables. Resulting in highly dependable performance and calibration stability. The VNAs comes with all the features engineers have come to expect included standard in the software.

The R series VNAs includes an RF measurement module and R software application (depending on version optional accessory) which runs on Windows or Linux operating system on a PC, laptop, tablet, or x86 board computer connecting to the measurement hardware via USB interface. R software can be installed on multiple computers that share the use of the analyzer measurement module.

The R series network analyzers can be used in the field, in the laboratory, and in production testing. The VNAs can be integrated into production test system via manufacturing test plugin. They are powered and operated through USB connection to an external PC or an external 5 V charger.

All VNAs and ACMs are delivered with factory calibration certificates containing no data. The add-on option for ISO17025/Z540-1 accredited, traceable calibration certificate and uncertainties is available and needs to be specified at time of order.

The R180 1-port VNA is available on request with an IP54 add-on option: As defined in international standard IEC 60529, the ingress protection rating classifies the degrees of protection provided against the intrusion of solid objects (including body parts like hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact, and water in electrical enclosures.
The standard configuration R180-02 incorporates an N-type male test port connector. Other connectors are available by special order:

  • R180-01: N-type female.
  • R180-02: N-type male.
  • R180-11: 3.5 mm female.
  • R180-12: 3.5 mm male.
