TekBox TBWA2/20dB, TBWA2/40dB Wideband Amplifiers
The TekBox TBWA2 series wideband RF amplifiers can easily be integrated into laboratory setups. With a bandwidth of 2 MHz to 6 GHz, they are ideal to boost the signals picked up by our EMC near field probes. The TBWA2 wideband amplifiers are available with 20 dB or 40 dB gain.
Bundled with Nearfield Probes
The amplifiers of the TBWA2 series are also available bundled with the TekBox TBPS01 EMC nearfield probes. The TBPS01 set includes magnetic field (H) and electric field (E) probes for radiated emissions EMC pre-compliance measurements. They are used to locate and identify potential sources of interference within the components of electronic assemblies. The probes work similar as wide bandwidth antennas, picking up radiated emissions from components, PCB traces, housing openings or gaps and any other section that could be emitting RF. The probes are usually connected to a spectrum analyzer. Another application is RF immunity test by feeding an RF signal into the probe and radiating it into potentially susceptible circuit sections. Further applications are non-invasive measurements of RF components such as modulators or oscillators. Frequency, phase noise and spectral components can be measured in conjunction with a low noise preamplifier such as the TBWA2/20dB and TBWA2/40dB wideband amplifiers. They are connected between the EMC probe and the spectrum analyzer to increase the dynamic range of the measurements.
