NI Digilent Ettus USRP E320 2x2, 70 MHz to 6 GHz SDR/Cognitive Radio

The NI Digilent Ettus USRP E320 is a field-deployable SDR (software-defined radio platform). It uses Analog Devices' flexible 2x2 MIMO transceiver AD9361, which covers frequencies from 70 MHz to 6 GHz and offers an instantaneous bandwidth of up to 56 MHz. The open-source USRP Hardware Driver (UHD) API and the RF Network-on-Chip (RFNoC) FPGA development framework reduce software development effort and can be integrated into a variety of industry-standard tools such as GNU Radio. This makes the USRP E320 ideal for prototyping and designing a wide range of SDR applications such as spectrum monitoring and analysis, base station and UE emulation, mobile communications, and UAV communications/detection. The baseband processor utilizes the AMD Zynq-7045 SoC. Applications can be deployed directly on the pre-installed embedded Linux operating system, or samples can be streamed to a host computer via high-speed interfaces such as 1 Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and Aurora. The USRP E320 features a flexible synchronization architecture with support for traditional SDR synchronization methods such as clock reference, PPS time reference, and GPSDO, enabling the implementation of high-channel-count MIMO systems.
