FLIR Si124 Acoustic Imaging Camera
With the Si124 industrial acoustic camera, FLIR offers a unique, intelligent and user-friendly acoustic imaging system. The FLIR Si124 makes it easy to visualize leaks in compressed air systems and show partial discharge problems in high voltage electrical systems. Yet the camera is so lightweight that it can be easily held and operated with one hand. The FLIR Si124 is equipped with 124 microphones and captures a frequency range that covers audible sounds and ultrasound with a bandwidth 2 to 65 kHz range. Typical background noise in industrial environments is "masked out" and precise acoustic images are generated. These are superimposed in real time on a "real image" from the digital camera. The origin of the sound can thus be precisely localized and problems classified.
