HIOKI BT356x Series Battery Testers

The HIOKI BT356x series battery testers are used to inspect the quality of completed cells, modules, and packs on production lines. The testers can measure internal resistance (AC-IR) and open-circuit voltage (OCV) to check battery quality.

  • BT356xA series: BT3561A, BT3562A, BT3563A
    • Simultaneous measurement of internal resistance and open circuit voltage.
    • Fully automated production line testing of small or large cells and packs up to 60, 100, or 300 V, power motors, xEVs.
    • Resistance measurement ranges depending on model: 3 mΩ/30 mΩ/300 mΩ/3 Ω/30 Ω/300 Ω/3 kΩ.
    • Voltage measurement ranges, depending on model: 6 V/60 V/100 V or 300 V.
    • Equipped with LAN.
  • BT356x series: BT3562-01, BT3563-01, BT3564
    • Measure the voltage of battery packs depending on model up to 60 V, 300 V or 1000 V.
    • Production line testing of high-voltage battery packs and battery modules, BT3564 for EV, PHEV.
    • BT3462-1, BT356-1: Large (low-resistance) cell testing.
    • BT3564: 0.1 µΩ to 3000 Ω internal resistance range (pack total resistance, bus bar resistance). Spark discharge reduction function. Optional measurement probe available for 1000 V and high-voltage battery packs.

    • BT3561A: Small cells for power motors. Small packs of up to 60 V.
