HIOKI SA2634-KIT Slurry Analysis System
The HIOKI SA2634-KIT is a slurry analytical system that consists of the LCR meter IM3536, the analytical software SA2634, the test fixture SA9002, and the electrode cells/probe holders (50 pieces per pack) SA9001 and SA9001-01. All components are also available as individual products. The HIOKI SA2634-KIT allows electrochemical analysis and fills the gap between chemical and physical slurry analysis such as viscosity, particle size etc.
Slurry processes are an important part of modern battery manufacturing. Slurry is a viscous paste consisting of binder, carbon black, water, or solvents, which is used to coat thin metal foils for battery production.
- Complete analytical system for battery slurry.
- Helps to identify the perfect slurry mixing state.
- Allows the identification of the optimal ratio between active material and conductive additive.
- Models EIS data with an equivalent circuit to extract 3 proprietary parameters:
DCR - total slurry resistance.
Rratio - ratio of conductive material's resistive component in DCR.
Uniformity - distribution state of conductive paths.
How doest it work?
- 1 ml of the slurry is filled into the sample holder SA9001 or SA9001-01.
- The sample holder is inserted into the fixture SA9002.
- The fixture SS9002 is attached to the LCR meter IM3536.
- The IM3536 is connected to a PC and controlled by the SA2634 software.
- The software performs with an EIS sweep and calculates the 3 proprietary parameters described above that qualify the slurry.
- Additionally, the software calculates the data for the equivalent circuit.
