Keysight X8712A IoT Battery Life Optimization Solution
The Keysight X8712A helps to correlate battery consumption to an RF or DC event - the new way to perform battery drain analysis.
Required components:
- ▸Keysight N6705C power analyzer.
▸Keysight N6781A SMU (source measure unit) module for N6705C, for battery drain analysis. - Keysight X8712AD RF event detector.
- KS833A2A Pathwave event-based power analysis software (node-locked perpetual licence or 12 months subscription).
This combination of Keysight hardware and software can help you determine the total power consumption of your device. It captures RF and/or DC events from your IoT device, synchronously match the events to the current consumption and estimates the battery life of your device.
The KS833A2A detects design weaknesses with quick and effortless event-based power consumption analysis and can easily estimate battery life.
There are two data acquisition modes of this test system. The single mode is used for detailed analysis of fast events (fastest time intervall 5.12 µs per channel, duration: seconds). The continuous mode is used for the analysis of DUT over a long time (fastest time intervall 102.4 µs per channel, duration: up to 8 days).
